Police are investigating a robbery at Clearview in the early hours of this morning where staff members and patrons were threatened by two offenders.

Just after 2am, police were called to the Enfield Hotel on Hampstead Road after reports that two men entered the gaming area of the hotel and demanded cash. One man was armed with a handgun, and the other was armed with a knife.

The pair stole cash and fled in a red Ford Laser which was later found burnt out in nearby Ross Street.

No one inside the hotel was injured, however police are investigating if a male cyclist was injured by the suspects when they fled the scene.

Both suspects are described as about 180cm tall and of medium build.
