Police are investigating the armed robbery of a supermarket at Caboolture South last night.
Initial information suggests around 8pm a man entered the business on Morayfield Road, selected some items for sale and approached the express checkout section.
The man requested cash from a 16-year-old female console operator and produced what appeared to be a hand gun before making further threats and demanding money.
The employee complied and the man fled the store through the main entrance with a sum of money.
He is described as Caucasian in appearance with a medium build and brown hair, and was wearing a white hoodie with black spots, black shirt with writing on the front, dark pants and orange round sunglasses.
Police have released the below images of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

No one was physically injured during the incident.
