A man has been charged following the armed robbery of a service station at Murrumba Downs last night.
It will be alleged around 10.30pm a man entered the Blyth Road business, selected some items for sale and approached the front counter.
The man then allegedly produced a knife and demanded money from the male shop attendant, who refused.
It is further alleged the man left the shop carrying the items which had not been paid for and rode away on a bike.
Police located the man a short time later and took him into custody without incident.
A 23-year-old Kallangur man has been charged with armed robbery and possess tainted property and is due to appear in Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on March 19.
No one was physically injured.
