Northern Territory Police have charged a 24-year-old man in relation to a crime spree throughout the Northern Territory – including an aggravated robbery north of Alice Springs on 30 December.

He was arrested at the Palmerston Shopping Centre about 10.30am today.

He has been charged with:

  • Aggravated robbery
  • Assault with intent to steal armed with weapon
  • Unlawful use of motor vehicle
  • Aggravated unlawful use of a motor vehicle
  • Damage to property (x2)
  • Unlawful entry
  • Stealing
  • Trespass

He was remanded in custody to appear in Darwin Local Court on Monday, 13 February.
