A man has been charged following an armed robbery that occurred yesterday afternoon at Eastern Heights.
A man entered a convenience store on Cemetery Road yesterday at 1.20pm and it will be alleged that he produced a knife and made demands for cash.
The male attendant gave the man a sum of cash and he then fled the scene on foot.
A 32-year-old man has been charged with one count of armed robbery and is due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on February 13.
