12 February 2017 – Armed Robbery – Business Premises – Loganlea

Police are investigating after a service station was robbed in Loganlea early this morning.
Police were called to the business on Loganlea Road just before 1am following reports that two men had robbed the business.
Initial information suggests that the men were armed with a bat and an axe and smashed a glass security door before demanding cash and cigarettes.
The male attendant has complied, and the two men then fled the scene with a sum of cash and a quantity of cigarettes and were last seen heading towards Loganlea Road.
No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.
Investigations are continuing.
