Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Toowoomba this morning.

Preliminary investigations indicate that around 8.15am, a man armed with a knife entered a pharmacy on Mylne Street.

The man threatened staff before fleeing the business with a sum of cash and a quantity of drugs.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, aged in his 20’s and having a slim build.

Police are appealing to any members of the public who may have seen this man running from Mylne Street towards Russell Street wearing a dark jumper, dark long pants and gloves.

It is believed the man changed clothes in Russell Street, wearing a blue singlet, long pants, socks and no shoes.
