Police investigating the armed robbery of a business at Mooroobool yesterday have charged two girls with a number of offences.

It is alleged that around 4.30pm on Swallow Street, the two girls entered the store and removed a number of items without paying for them.

If is further alleged that one of the girls re-entered the business and threatened the staff member with the brick and demanded cash.

It is alleged the second girl re-entered the business and assisted in removing the cash.

Both girls left the store with a quantity of cash and property.

No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.

A 14-year-old Westcourt girl has been charged with armed robbery, enter premises and commit indictable offence, stealing and wilful damage.

A 15-year-old Manoora girl has been charged with armed robbery and enter premises and commit indictable offence.
