Detectives are investigating an armed robbery of a business at Oxley that occurred this evening.
Preliminary investigations indicate that around 8pm, a man armed with a knife has entered the store on Blunder Road.
The man approached a staff member at the counter, demanded cash and produced a knife.
The man grabbed a quantity of cash from the register and left the store with the money.
No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.
The man is described as Islander in appearance, late 20’s, approximately 170cm tall and black hair.
Investigations are continuing.
