24 February 2017 – Armed Robbery – Takeaway Store – Paget

Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a takeaway store in Paget early this morning.
Preliminary investigations indicate that around 4.10am, a man entered the business on Connors Road and threatened the female store employee with a knife.
The man has taken a sum of cash before locking the employee in a cold room and fleeing the scene on foot.
The employee managed to get out of the cold room and contact police. She was not physically injured.
Police have established a crime scene, with investigations continuing this morning.
