Detectives are continuing to appeal for information as part of an investigation into armed robberies in the Hunter region.

Strike Force Shirley was established by detectives from the Robbery and Serious Crime Squad, and Port Stephens and Central Hunter Local Area Commands, to investigate a series of armed robberies in the area.

Following extensive investigations, a search warrant was executed at a home on Shearman Avenue, Raymond Terrace, about 9.30am yesterday (Tuesday 4 April 2017).

Detectives also seized a number of items, including a Holden Commodore, which was located nearby.

As inquiries under Strike Force Shirley continue, detectives have released CCTV of masked people who they believe may be able to assist with further inquiries.

The vision depicts the masked people entering a fast food restaurant on Nelson Bay Road, Williamtown, about 10.50pm on Wednesday 25 January 2017.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who may know those depicted in the vision, or who has information relevant to the investigation, to come forward.
