Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a licensed premises in Richlands this evening.
Preliminary investigations indicate that shortly before 8pm, a man has driven into the drive-through section of the Government Road business and exited the vehicle.
He has brandished a metal bar, threatened the male employee, and made demands for money.
The employee complied, handing over a sum of cash.
The man then fled the scene in the vehicle.
No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.
Investigations are continuing.
