Melton Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating following a burglary at Taylors Hill overnight.

It is believed four unknown offenders in a Land Cruiser and a white Mazda van have attended a Calder park Drive shopping centre about 3.55am

The unknown offenders drove the four-wheel-drive through the doors of the shopping centre.

The Land Cruiser was then followed into the centre by the van.

The thieves removed an automated teller machine and loaded it into the van.

The offenders left in the Mazda van with the ATM.

This van is believed to have been stolen from Northcote between the 16 and 30 March and has not been recovered.

The Land Cruiser was left at the scene and will be examined by police.
