Police have released CCTV of two masked men as investigations continue into an armed robbery in Sydney’s west last month.

About 12.30am on Wednesday 24 May 2017, two masked men, armed with knives, entered the licensed premises on Aurelia Street, Toongabbie, and threatened staff, demanding cash.

The men stole cash, ran from the hotel, and left in a black 2000-model Holden Commodore sedan.

Police from Holroyd Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene, which was examined by specialist forensic officers.

Detectives from the State Crime Command’s Robbery and Serious Crime Squad established Strike Force Tradesman to investigate the incident.

As their investigation continues, detectives have released CCTV of masked people who they believe may be able to assist with further inquiries.

The vision depicts the masked men as being about 182cm tall and having a slim to medium build.

Both men were wearing balaclavas with hooded jumpers, dark pants, and sneakers. In addition, they had business shirts draped over their heads.

Investigators are urging anyone who may know those depicted in the vision, or who has information that may assist with their inquiries, to come forward.
