At 8.27pm, a man armed with a gun entered the Middle Road business, threatened a male staff member and demanded cash.
He stole a sum of money and left the premises on foot.
The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, 170cm tall, with a slim build and was wearing black clothing including a hoodie.
He was also wearing gloves and a black mask covering his face.
Investigations are continuing.
