Police are appealing for public assistance following an attempted armed robbery on the state’s North Coast earlier this year.
A man armed with a dagger style knife entered a liquor store on Park Avenue, about 10am on Sunday 5 March 2017, and threatened a staff member.
The armed man fled the scene on foot empty-handed.
No one was injured during the incident.
Officers attached to Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command attended and have commenced investigations.
Following inquiries, police would like to speak to a man depicted in a CCTV image, who may be able to assist police with their investigation. He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 20s, approximately between 175cm to 185cm tall, and of solid build.
He is shown in the image wearing a dark coloured hoodie, yellow shorts similar style to board shorts, and black gloves
