Police are investigating the armed robbery of a chemist at Chester Hill yesterday.

About 4.30pm (Tuesday 25 July 2017), a man entered a pharmacy on Waldron Road armed with two knives.

The man approached two female workers at the rear of the store and demanded cash.

One of the workers complied with demand before the man left the shop.

Police were alerted and officers from Bankstown Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

No one was injured in the incident.

Investigating officers would like to speak with a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

The man is described as being in his 30’s and of Mediterranean / Middle Eastern appearance with a medium build.

He was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper over his head with a white logo on the front, black pants, and light coloured shoes.
