29 July 2017 – Armed Robbery – Electronics Store – Morayfield

Detectives are investigating following an armed robbery at an electronics store in a Morayfield shopping centre.
Preliminary investigations indicate at 1:20pm a man entered the store on Morayfield Road and used a knife to cut a safety device attached to a Samsung sports watch.
As the man was leaving the shopping centre he was challenged by staff members, at which point he threatened staff with the knife before fleeing the scene on foot.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as Caucasian, aged in his late teens or early 20s and was last seen wearing an orange beanie, black t-shirt and cargo shorts.
