Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Sunshine pharmacy on 4 August.

At about 9.15pm, a man armed with a knife entered the Devonshire Road store and demanded codeine pain relief tablets.

He threatened staff whilst making the demands before removing an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register and fled towards the Sunshine railway station on Clarke Street.

The offender is described of African appearance, 170cm tall, thin build and wearingdark clothing including a black balaclava.

He was last seen carrying a black backpack and fleeing towards the Sunshine railway station on Clarke Street.

Police have released CCTV and an image of a man they wish to speak to in relation to the incident.
