Police today released CCTV footage in relation to the armed robbery of a Clarence Gardens hotel on Sunday (13 August) in a bid to identify the offenders.

Just after 8am on Sunday two men – one armed with a bat – entered the gaming room of the hotel on South Road.

A male patron from the hotel was struck on the arm during the robbery and was treated by ambulance officers at the scene.

The offenders, who stole cash, fled on foot and were last seen on Pearson Street.

A search of the area by patrols and a police dog failed to find the pair, who are described as being slim and aged in their early 20s.

Anyone with information about these men or the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at https://crimestopperssa.com.au/ – you can remain anonymous.
