A 32-year-old man has been charged following a series of alleged armed robberies in Melbourne’s south-east.
Frankston police arrested the man after he allegedly committed an armed robbery at a service station on Seaford Road in Seaford at 12.35am today.
The Frankston North man was charged with 11 armed robberies, one robbery and one attempted armed robbery that occurred over the past two and a half weeks.
He has been charged in relation to the below alleged incidents;
– armed robbery at an adult shop in Hallam on 10.26pm on 31 August
– armed robbery at a service station in Seaford at 8.50pm on 7 September
– armed robbery at a service station at 2.05am on 8 September
– armed robbery at a service station at 12.50am on 10 September
– armed robbery at a service station at 7.30pm on 14 September
– attempted armed robbery at a service station in Dandenong South at 9.35pm on 15 September
– armed robbery at a service station in Officer at 11.10pm on 15 September
– armed robbery at a services station in Springvale at 1.27pm on 16 September
– armed robbery at a service station in Dandenong at 2.35am on 16 September
– armed robbery at a service station in Clayton at 7.02am on 16 September
– robbery at a bottle shop in Cheltenham at 6pm on 16 September
– armed robbery at a service station in Karingal at 10.15pm on 16 September
– armed robbery at a service station in Seaford at 12.35am 17 September
He will front Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning.
