17 September 2017 – Armed Robbery – Convenience Store – Burleigh Heads

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store at Burleigh Heads last night.
Just after 7pm, a man entered the premises on Second Avenue and confronted the attendant with a knife.
He then walked behind the counter and took a sum of money from the cash register before leaving the store.
No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
