15 November 2017 – Armed Robbery – Business Premises – Garbutt Townsville

Townsville detectives are investigating an armed robbery incident that occurred at Garbutt (Townsville) this evening.
At about 8.15pm, a man entered the Ingham Road business and threatened a male staff member with a pair of scissors demanding cash.
A short time later, a second man outside the store signalled to the man and both men fled the scene with the money.
Both men are described as Aboriginal, approximately twenty-years-of-age, one wearing a black hooded top and one wearing a grey hooded top.
No one was injured during the incident.
Investigations are continuing.
