Police are appealing for witnesses following the armed robbery of a fast food business at a shopping centre in Eagleby tonight.
Preliminary investigations indicate at around 7:35pm a man entered the business on River Hills Road armed with a machete.
The man demanded money from a female staff member, who complied with the man’s demands before he fled the scene on foot with a sum of cash.
The staff member was not physically injured during the robbery.
The man is described as Caucasian, approximately 178cm tall with a medium build.
He was last seen wearing a dark coloured clothing and a face covering.
Investigations are continuing.
