Police have arrested and charged a man after an alleged glassing incident in the state’s south.

About 9.15pm yesterday (Saturday 9 December 2017), two men became involved in an argument at a licensed premises on Table Top Road, Thurgoona, which is about 9km north of Albury.

During the incident one of the men allegedly assaulted the other with a glass.

Emergency Services were called to the location and police arrested a 51-year-old man at the scene.

He was taken to Albury Police Station where he was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He was granted conditional bail and will appear in Albury Local Court on Tuesday 16 January 2017.

The victim, aged in his 40s, was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
