Police are investigating following two attempted robberies at a licensed premises in Tuncurry earlier this year.

On Sunday 10 October 2017, it is alleged two offenders attempted to gain entry to a licensed premises on Beach Street, Tuncurry, before fleeing. One offender was allegedly armed.

A further incident occurred on Sunday 3 December 2017 where police allege that four offenders attempted to gain entry to the same premises, before fleeing. One offender was again allegedly armed.

Police from Manning Great Lakes Local Area Command are conducting regular patrols of all licensed premises in the Tuncurry area to detect and arrest the alleged offenders.
