21 December 2017 – Armed Robbery – Convenience Store – Mount Pleasant

Detectives are investigating an attempted armed robbery incident that occurred at Mount Pleasant this afternoon.
At about 1.30pm, a man armed with a knife entered a convenience store on Grandview Drive and threatened a staff member whilst demanding money.
The man fled the scene a short time later without taking any property or cash.
At about 1.53pm at Sarina, police attempted to intercept the man’s vehicle however were unsuccessful.
No one was injured during the incident.
Investigations are continuing.
