Police are investigating an armed robbery in Sydney’s south-west.

About 10.30pm (Thursday 11 January 2018), a man with his face covered entered a fast food restaurant on Lasso Road, Gregory Hills and threatened staff with a knife and metal bar.

He was handed an amount of cash before fleeing the scene.

No staff were injured.

The man was wearing a black balaclava, grey hooded jacket, black track pants, black gloves, and white shoes.

Detectives from Camden Local Area Command are conducting inquiries into the incident.
