Holden Hill police are investigating an incident where a man armed with a knife robbed a Greenacres service station overnight.

Just before 2am on Thursday 18 January, a man wearing a ski mask, black clothing an armed with a large knife, walked into a service station on North East Road and threatened the console operator.

The suspect was handed a small amount of money from the till and five packets of tobacco and he fled on foot.

There were no injuries in the incident.

Police patrols including a police dog patrol searched the area but the suspect wasn’t located.
