A man is assisting police with their inquiries following the armed robbery of a service station in Idalia this morning.
At 2.40am, a man armed with a knife entered the Stuart Drive petrol station and made demands for money from the female staff member.
He left the premises on foot with a sum of cash.
No-one was physically injured.
Police located a man a short time later and took him into custody.
Investigations are continuing.
