Detectives investigating the armed robbery of a service station at Withcott last night have released a comfit image of a man involved in the offence.
Just before 9.30pm a man confronted an employee of the Warrego Highway business armed with a machete before making demands.
The male staff member complied and handed over a sum of cash and a quantity of cigarettes.
No one was injured as a result of the incident.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance aged in his late 30s with an obese build and bald head.
He was wearing a light-coloured singlet, light blue jeans and a bandana tied across his face.
Police are urging anyone who may recognise the man depicted in the comfit to contact police.
