22 January 2018 – Armed Robbery – Convenience Store – Slade Point

Detectives are investigating an armed robbery in Slade Point last night.

At 8.55pm, two men entered a convenience store on Finch Street armed with knives and made demands for cash.

The attendant complied and gave the men a sum of cash before men the fled the store.

They were last seen on Finch Street on foot.

No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.

The first man was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, black sunglasses, blue shorts, and had a white shirt wrapped around his head.

The second man was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with an NY logo on the front and grey shorts. He also had a white shirt wrapped around his head.

Investigations are continuing.
