Police are investigating the armed robbery of a service station at Logan Central early this morning.

Around 3:30am a man and a woman entered the business on Kingston Road and threatened a staff member with a box cutter, demanding money.

The staff member complied with the pair’s demands, handing over a sum of cash before the man and woman fled the scene on foot.

No one was physically injured during the robbery.

The man is described as having a dark complexion, around 170cm tall with a slim build. He was wearing sunglasses and a hooded jumper at the time of the incident.

The woman is described as having a dark complexion, around 165cm tall with an average build and short dark hair. She was wearing a bright pink singlet and light-coloured pants at the time of the incident.
