14 February 2018 – Armed Robbery – Service Station – Eli Waters

Police are investigating after a service station at Eli Waters was robbed last night (February 13).

Around 9.35pm two men entered the business on Maryborough Hervey Bay Road and threatened a male staff member with a firearm demanding money.

The staff member complied and the men fled the store with a sum of cash.

The 35-year-old employee and a 33-year-old male customer inside the store at the time, were not physically injured.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with relevant dash cam vision to contact police.
