Police are appealing for public information following an armed robbery in Berry this morning.

About 6.20am (Friday 9 March 2018), officers from South Coast Police District were called to a service station on Queen Street, after reports of an armed robbery.

Police were told, a man armed with a knife, threatened staff before demanding money.

The man stole an amount of cash and other items, before he left the scene in a dark-coloured sedan, possibly with a sunroof, driven by an unknown person.

A staff member received minor injuries during the incident, but did not require medical treatment.

A crime scene was established and investigations are continuing.
