Police are investigating after an Aspley service station was robbed in the early hours of this morning.
Initial investigations indicate that around 3am, two women and a man attended the Robinson Road West business.
The man was armed with a long metal pole.
The man approached the store employee at the counter and made demands for cash. The store employee complied, handing over the cash drawer.
The man and two women then fled the store on foot. They were last seen heading north along Kirby Road.
The Dog Squad attended and conducted a track, with officers locating the metal pole on Kirby Road.
No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.
Investigations are continuing.
Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have relevant information to contact them.
