Brimbank Embona detectives are investigating an aggravated burglary at a second hand dealer in Sunshine last week.

A man entered the Hampshire Road store about 2.20pm on 6 April with a crowbar concealed in his jacket.

He used the crowbar to smash a display cabinet containing jewellery.

The man stole a quantity of jewellery, valued at thousands of dollars, before leaving the store on foot.

He is described as Caucasian, approximately 165cm tall, aged in his 40’s and wearing a black hooded jacket with white fleece lining and black track pants with two white stripes.

Police have released an image and CCTV footage of a man they believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries.
