22 April 2018 – Armed Robbery – Service Station – Woree

Police are investigating after an armed robbery at a service station in Woree earlier tonight.
At around 7:30pm a man entered the business on the Bruce Highway, armed with a knife.
The man demanded money from a male staff member, who complied with the man’s demands before the armed man fled the scene on foot, in the direction of Rigg Street.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as being of a medium build and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black shorts and a black hat.
