A fourth man has been charged in connection to an alleged conspiracy to commit an armed robbery in the state’s Manning Great Lakes region.
Detectives from the State Crime Command’s Robbery and Serious Crime Squad and Manning Great Lakes Police District established Strike Force Harlaw to investigate break-ins and armed robberies in the Forster/Tuncurry area.
Acting on information from the community, strike force detectives, assisted by the Tactical Operations Unit, arrested three men on Tuesday 3 April 2018. They remain before the court.
Following further investigations, a 30-year-old man was arrested at Forster Police Station just after 12.30pm yesterday (Monday 30 April 2018).
He was charged with conspiracy to commit offence unspecified.
The Forster man was refused bail to appear at Taree Local Court later today (Tuesday 1 May 2018).
