Police are continuing to investigate a reported robbery at a convenience store in the Sydney CBD this morning.

About 12.30am (Tuesday 1 May 2018), police were called to a store at the corner of King Street and York Road, after reports two men entered the store and approached the counter, before taking cash and a small safe.

They were last seen running towards George Street.

Officers from Sydney City Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

The men are described as being of Asian appearance, aged 30 to 40-years-old, and of medium build.
