Police are investigating following an armed robbery at a service station in Sydney’s south-west this morning.

Just after 4am (Saturday 12 May 2018), officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command were called to Ash Road, Prestons, after a man armed with a firearm entered a service station.

The man, described only as wearing a black jumper and dark-coloured pants, threatened an employee before stealing cash.

No one was injured.

The man was last seen travelling in a red vehicle on Ash Road, towards Kurrajong Road.

Investigators are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
