Police are appealing for assistance to locate two men following an armed robbery at a bar in Mackay earlier this month.

Around 9pm on June 12, two men entered the business on Wood Street and one of them approached the bar.

He revealed a firearm in his bag to the attendant while the other man stayed in the middle of the room.

The first man then handed the attendant a note and made demands for cash before both men fled the Gregory Street entrance into a dark coloured sedan.

Police are asking for assistance to help locate two men (pictured) who may be able to assist police with their enquiries.

Members of the public are asked to NOT approach the men as they are believed to be armed and could be dangerous.
