26 July 2018 – Armed Robbery – Hotel – Auburn

Police are on the scene of an attempted armed robbery at Auburn.
About 2.45am (Thursday 26 July 2018), two men wearing balaclavas forced entry to a hotel on Parramatta Road, Auburn, and threatened staff.
One of the men was armed with a firearm and the other a crowbar.
One male staff member, aged 29, was assaulted but did not require medical treatment.
The two offenders fled empty-handed a short time later.
Police from Auburn Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene which will be forensically examined.
No arrests have yet been made. Inquiries continue.
