Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a golf club on the state’s mid north coast overnight.
About 12.15am (Sunday 26 August 2018), two men – armed with a machete and a sledgehammer – forced entry to the club on Ocean Drive, Port Macquarie.
Police have been told the men confronted two employees and demanded money.
The staff members – a man and a woman – complied and the men left with cash.
The staff were not physically injured.
Officers from Mid North Coast Police District were notified and commenced an investigation.
