Detectives investigating an armed robbery at Eagleby yesterday have released footage to try and identify a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Around 2.14am, a man entered a service station on River Hills Road and approached the counter with a number of drinks taken from the fridge.

He placed the drinks on the counter and pulled a knife from his shorts.

The armed man then demanded money and cigarettes from the attendant, and when they complied, he fled the scene on foot.

No one was injured as a result of the robbery.

He is described as Caucasian, approximately 180cm, proportionate build, with dark hair and dark coloured facial hair.

The man was wearing dark coloured shorts with an Everlast logo, black jacket with assorted white and red stripes, red baseball cap and black runners.

Investigations are continuing.
