Police will address the media after detectives released CCTV footage as part of an investigation into an armed robbery at a licensed club at Tuncurry earlier this year.

Just after 9pm on Sunday 11 February 2018, three men – armed with a crowbar and a screwdriver – forced their way into a licensed club on Beach Street, Tuncurry.

Two employees, aged 57 and 63, were threatened and tied up using cable ties. The men then raided the poker machines and the office – stealing cash – before fleeing the scene.

Detectives from the Robbery and Serious Crime Squad and Manning/Great Lakes Police District established Strike Force Harlaw to investigate the incident, along with a number of other armed robberies and break-ins across the region.
