Detectives are seeking public assistance to help locate a man following an armed robbery that occurred yesterday morning in Nambour.

A man entered a pharmacy on Mill Street at 10.25am and produced a knife and made demands to staff for medication.

When they complied, the man fled the scene without further incident.

No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 175cm tall and is believed to be in his 50s or 60s.

He has a solid build and brown hair.

Police believe the same man committed a similar offence at a Rawson Street at Caloundra chemist on January 4.

Anyone who has any information which may assist police or recognises the man is being asked to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
