Police have released CCTV of the moment an inner-city hotel was robbed at knifepoint last month.
About 9.10pm on Thursday 31 January 2019, a man who had his face concealed jumped the counter of the Hotel on Botany Road.
The man, who was armed with a knife, threatened a worker and demanded cash.
At the time, there were several other staff and customers present.
The worker opened the cash registers and the armed man fled with cash a short time later.
No one was injured.
As investigations continue, police would like to speak to the man shown in the CCTV.
He is described as being of Maori/Pacific Islander appearance, with a solid build; and is shown wearing a long-sleeved khaki jacket, dark long pants, black shoes, with a yellow jumper partially concealing his face.
Police are appealing for anyone with information, or anyone who may have captured dashcam vision of the man fleeing, to come forward.
