Casey Crime Investigation Unit detectives have today released images of three men that they believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries into an armed robbery and assault in Hallam last month.

Investigators have been told three men were walking from Hallam Train Station towards the Hallam Valley Trail about 1.30am on 9 March.

The men were then approached by three unknown males who asked the victims for a lighter before assaulting one of the victims.

The offenders then set upon the rest of the group and stole a mobile phone.

The three victims, two 18-year-old men from Hampton Park and a 19-year-old man from Berwick were taken to hospital with injuries.

The three offending men are described as Islander in appearance and were all wearing dark clothing.
