Detectives have released CCTV vision of a vehicle of interest as they continue to investigate an armed robbery at a liquor store in the Illawarra region last year.

About 6.30pm on Tuesday 31 July 2018, a man – armed with a knife – entered a liquor store on Blackwood Street, Gerringong.

The armed man threatened a 56-year-old female employee before stealing cash and fleeing the store.

The woman was not physically injured.

Local police attended and established a crime scene before the State Crime Command’s Robbery and Serious Crime Squad took carriage of the investigation.

As part of ongoing inquiries, strike force investigators have released CCTV vision of a white utility and are appealing for public assistance.

The vision depicts the utility travelling on Fern Street, Gerringong, shortly before the armed robbery.

Anyone with information about the vehicle or the incident is urged to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
